The why
Most Indian businesses run on tools that record transactions but don’t govern them — no approvals, no segregation of duties, no audit trail you’d want in front of a regulator. And most accounting software makes a CA firm log in one client at a time, with no view across the practice. Ganav was built to close both gaps: a governed ledger for the business, and an operating system for the firm — India-first, controls-first.
What we believe
- Controls first. Governance and auditability belong in the core, not bolted on.
- India first. GST, TDS, payroll statutory, INR, DD-MM-YYYY, IST — defaults, not add-ons.
- Meet people where they are. Connect to Tally and Zoho; migrate on the customer’s timeline.
- Honest about scope. We say what we don’t do (inventory) as clearly as what we do.
- The app should drive the user. Next steps in-place, cockpits over empty screens.
